Cold Road Marking Paint

Product Description: It is a modified alkyd resin based, one component, used on asphalt and concrete surfaces, easy to apply, has high coverage, does not change color over time, is good for surfaces applied, abrasion and friction resistant, long life, solvent based cold road paint.

Usage Area: It can be used in all kinds of urban, intercity highways, parking lots, pavements, pedestrian crossings, airports, etc. It is used in traffic marking lines to ensure pedestrian and vehicle traffic safety in areas.

Method of Application: The surfaces to be applied should be cleaned from swollen and loose textured layers and free dust. Dust, dirt and oil on the surface should be cleaned. The application surface must be absolutely dry. Never apply on damp or wet surfaces. It is ready to use without thinning. Optionally, PMR Fors Classic is thinned with 5-10% PMR Fors Thinner by volume and mixed homogeneously with the help of a drill and applied in 1 layer with roller, road marking tools or airless gun. In optional 2nd layer application, minimum 30 minutes should be waited between the coats depending on the ambient temperature and humidity. Glass beads to be used for night visibility should be sprinkled homogeneously on the paint surface.

Issues to be Considered in Application:

         Before use, the paint should be mixed until it becomes homogeneous in the box.

         In applications performed in environments below +5 oC and above +35 oC, the surface

problems may occur.

         Application surfaces should be dry and clean.

         Application should be made according to the specified Application features.

         It should not be thinned more than 5 - 10%.

         Waiting times between floors must be observed.

Application Tools Cleaning:

Application tools should be cleaned with PMR Road Line Thinner immediately after use.
